My husband bought me the software because I love playing with pictures (adding color, erasing areas, fixing old photographs). I tried figuring out the program on my own, but had a hard time. A good friend of mine is a graphic designer and recommended ';Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Classroom in a Book'; (that is the version I have, but they have the book for all versions). That is the book she used to learn the software in her college class. It is an amazing book. I am now a whiz with Adobe Photoshop. It is very detailed and illustrated, and it includes a CD tutorial so you can actually practice what you learn in each chapter!!! Lets say you learn to ';erase'; something, you would actually do an example of lets say ';erasing'; someone from a pic. You can get the book from amazon. You'll love it, it was a lot of fun.
